Sara Sanders, LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor), earned a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from University of Southern Indiana in 2008 and a M.Ed. in Counseling from Lindsey Wilson College in 2011. Since 2008, Sara has worked with children and families in a variety of settings and she enjoys helping others.
Sara specializes in helping individuals with trauma, depression, anxiety, ODD, ADHD, Mood Disorders, communication, grief, and issues of self-esteem. She is extensively trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and has experience helping children process trauma. Other areas of training include Motivational Interviewing, Reality Therapy, Dialectical behavior therapy, Solution-Focused therapy, and Play Therapy.
Sara is married with two daughters. She enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, reading, and running.
